Yellow House Behavioral Health is a private pay practice. All appointments are conducted via secure HIPAA-compliant telehealth for adolescents and young adults ages 10 to 25 throughout California. Payment is due at the time of service and a superbill is provided after each appointment.

A comprehensive telehealth psychiatric evaluation covering developmental and medical history, current symptoms, prior diagnoses, medication history, therapy history, school and family functioning, strengths, safety, and treatment goals. A parent or guardian must attend for minors to provide history and consent for treatment.
Appropriate for: New patients, diagnostic clarification, second opinions, ADHD evaluation, anxiety evaluation, depression evaluation, and young adults seeking psychiatric care for the first time.
Ongoing telehealth medication management appointments to monitor treatment progress, assess medication response and side effects, make dose adjustments when needed, coordinate with therapists and other providers, and reassess whether the current treatment plan remains appropriate.
Scheduled every 4 to 8 weeks. Existing Yellow House patients only.
Yellow House Behavioral Health is a private pay practice. Payment is due at the time of service. Accepted payment methods include all major credit cards. A superbill is provided after each appointment for families who wish to pursue out-of-network reimbursement through their insurance.
Yellow House does not bill insurance directly and is not in-network with any insurance plans. However, many families are able to receive partial reimbursement for out-of-network psychiatric care through their PPO insurance plan.
After each appointment, Yellow House provides a superbill. A superbill is an itemized receipt that includes the diagnostic and procedure codes, provider credentials, and other information your insurance company needs to process an out-of-network claim. You submit the superbill directly to your insurance company.
The amount reimbursed depends on your specific insurance plan, your deductible, and your out-of-network mental health benefits. Before scheduling, we encourage families to call the member services number on the back of their insurance card and ask: "What are my out-of-network mental health benefits for outpatient psychiatric care?"
Many PPO plans reimburse 50 to 80 percent of out-of-network psychiatric care once the deductible is met.

Specialized ADHD evaluation including review of attention, focus, emotional regulation, anxiety, depression, sleep, and school functioning before any medication decisions are made.
Psychiatric evaluation and medication management for generalized anxiety, social anxiety, panic disorder, and anxiety-driven school avoidance in adolescents and young adults.
Psychiatric evaluation and medication management for depression in adolescents and young adults, including diagnostic clarification when mood, anxiety, and ADHD overlap.
Specialized evaluation to identify which conditions are driving symptoms when ADHD, anxiety, depression, trauma, sleep disorders, and mood instability overlap.
Psychiatric second opinions and diagnostic review for families who are unsure whether a current diagnosis, medication, dose, or treatment plan still fits.
